Il s&rsquo;appelle <em>kaprao<\/em> en tha\u00ef. Pad kaprao signifie \u00ab\u00a0saut\u00e9 avec du basilic sacr\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. <br>Le basilic sacr\u00e9 pousse en bros buissons qui peuvent atteindre plus d&rsquo;un m\u00e8tre de haut. Cela n&rsquo;arrive pas chez nous car on le boulotte avant qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;ait le temps de prendre de la place \ud83e\udd23. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En Tha\u00eflande, on n&rsquo;a pas besoin de planter de basilic sacr\u00e9, il pousse de mani\u00e8re sauvage o\u00f9 bon lui semble. Il existe \u00e9galement avec des feuilles violac\u00e9es au lieu de feuilles vertes. Le basilic sacr\u00e9 aux feuilles violac\u00e9es est un peu plus fort en go\u00fbt que le vert. Je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re cuisiner avec le vert qui donne une saveur plus ronde aux plats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Par quoi remplacer le basilic sacr\u00e9 (kaprao) ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le go\u00fbt du basilic sacr\u00e9 est tr\u00e8s particulier, subtil et irrempla\u00e7able. Mais si tu n&rsquo;en trouves pas, tu peux pr\u00e9parer ce plat avec du basilic doux (basilic tha\u00ef habituel). Le go\u00fbt sera bien diff\u00e9rent. Attention de diminuer la quantit\u00e9 car le basilic doux a un parfum beaucoup plus puissant que le basilic sacr\u00e9.
