Il existe plein de variantes de cette salade :&nbsp;som tam thai (vesion normale), som tam laos (version avec de la sauce de poisson ferment\u00e9), som tam khai khem (version avec les oeufs sal\u00e9s),&nbsp;som tam poo (version avec du crabe), pour n&rsquo;en nommer que quelques unes. <br>Tam est le nom donn\u00e9 au fait de taper <strong>les ingr\u00e9dients avec un pilon<\/strong>. On a aussi d&rsquo;autres <em>tam<\/em> comme par exemple <strong><em>tam<\/em>&nbsp;<\/strong><em><strong>mamouang<\/strong> <\/em>la salade de mangue verte. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aupaysdespiments.com\/en\/som-tam-de-concombre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em><strong>Tam taeng <\/strong><\/em>la salade de concombre<\/a><em>, ou <strong>tam pomlama\u00ef<\/strong> <\/em>la <strong>salade de fruits<\/strong> fa\u00e7on Som Tam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Papaya pok pok <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ici, lorsque les Tha\u00efs que je ne connais pas essaient de communiquer avec moi en anglais, ils me demandent toujours si j&rsquo;aime la salade de papaye verte. C&rsquo;est immanquable. Ils utilisent le terme de \u00ab\u00a0<strong>papaya pok pok<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0. Ils sont toujours morts de rire en me demandant si je connais la \u00ab\u00a0papaya pok pok\u00a0\u00bb.&nbsp;Apr\u00e8s 7 ans en Tha\u00eflande, faudrait vraiment que je sois une cruche intergalactique pour ne pas connaitre la salade de papaye verte, non ? <br>Mais ils ne rient pas pour cela. Cette expression \u00ab\u00a0papaya pok pok\u00a0\u00bb vient <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jG15o5YTkE8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">d&rsquo;une chanson du groupe de rock tha\u00ef, mondialement connu, CARABAO<\/a>. Le chanteur y parle de la vie quotidienne des marchands ambulants de nourriture en Tha\u00eflande. Il raconte&nbsp;leur vie difficile et le peu de revenus qu&rsquo;ils en retirent. Et il se moque gentiment de ces marchands qui essaient de parler avec les touristes pour vendre leurs salades.&nbsp;Il savent comment dire \u00ab\u00a0papaya\u00a0\u00bb mais il ne savent pas comment traduire tam, alors ils imitent le bruit du pilon dans le mortier : pok pok pok pok. Du coup, \u00e7a donne \u00ab\u00a0papaya pok pok\u00a0\u00bb.<br>Les Tha\u00efs, en \u00e9coutant cette chanson, on trouv\u00e9 cette expression si dr\u00f4le qu&rsquo;elle est rest\u00e9e dans les m\u00e9moires. Elle est devenue une appellation contr\u00f4l\u00e9e&#8230; ou presque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On adore les salades tha\u00efes ! <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tu connais d\u00e9j\u00e0 mon engouement pour les salades tha\u00efes : <a title=\"Thai wing bean salad\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aupaysdespiments.com\/en\/salade-thaie-de-haricots-ailes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la salade de haricots ail\u00e9s<\/a>, <a title=\"Salade de mangues vertes\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aupaysdespiments.com\/en\/salade-de-mangues-vertes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la salade de mangue verte<\/a>,<a title=\"Salade de papaye verte\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aupaysdespiments.com\/en\/salade-de-papaye-verte\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> la salade de papaye verte<\/a>, <a title=\"Salade tha\u00efe \u2013 Yam Mama\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aupaysdespiments.com\/en\/salade-thaie-yam-mama\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la salade de nouilles instantan\u00e9es<\/a>, <a title=\"Salade de boeuf tha\u00ef\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aupaysdespiments.com\/en\/salade-de-boeuf-thai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la salade de boeuf grill\u00e9<\/a>, <a title=\"Laab \u2013 salade tha\u00efe de poulet\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aupaysdespiments.com\/en\/laab-salade-thaie-de-poulet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">le laab<\/a>, &#8230; je les adore toutes !<br>Celle-ci ne fait pas exception. <br>Il ne s&rsquo;agit pas d&rsquo;une salade de fruit pour le dessert. En Tha\u00eflande, les fruits&nbsp;se mangent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement tels quels, ils sont rarement pr\u00e9par\u00e9s en desserts. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une <strong>salade plut\u00f4t sal\u00e9e<\/strong> et elle est parfaite pour accompagner des grillades. On la mange traditionnellement&nbsp;avec du riz gluant et du poulet grill\u00e9 ou du poisson-chat grill\u00e9<\/p><div id=\"aupay-3317665416\" class=\"aupay-insert-post aupay-entity-placement\" J&rsquo;aime cette salade avec un bon go\u00fbt d&rsquo;ail, mais si \u00e7a te fais peur, tu peux diminuer la quantit\u00e9, toutefois je ne le conseille pas !
